Sara Jennifer Whitlatch

Sara Jennifer Whitlatch, 36 Years of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Uniontown, PA passed away peacefully Sunday April 2, 2017 at her residence. She was born December 24, 1980 in Uniontown.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Paulette R. (Teets) Whitlatch and an infant brother, Scott Whitlatch.

Sara was a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She had been a Registered Nurse and formerly worked as the Pittsburgh Transplant Coordinator for UPMC and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her father John I. Whitlatch and wife Connie Lee (Svec) Whitlatch of Uniontown, two brothers, Christopher Whitlatch and fiance Melissa Carey of Cranberry, PA and John Whitlatch and wife Emily of Schwenksville, PA, paternal grandmother Norma Jean (Morris) Whitlatch of Sarasota, FL, maternal grandmother Eleanor (Pegg) Teets Golby of Masontown, PA, uncle Jerry Adamson and aunt Kathleen Adamson of Masontown, aunt Twila Averill of Lakewood Ranch, FL and cousins.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc. 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave. Uniontown, PA Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 9:30 to 11 AM. Services will begin at 11AM with Rev. Timothy Rogers officiating. Interment will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
