Margaret Nell (Robottom) Umbel

Margaret Nell (Robottom) Umbel, 76, of Filbert, PA passed away peacefully Saturday September 7, 2019 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital with loving family by her side. She was born December 28, 1942 in Uniontown, PA.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Joseph and Katherine (Yankura) Robottom, a brother, Joseph Robottom and a sister, Mary Bumbgardener.

Margaret worked diligently for 24 years as a coal miner at the Dilworth Mine to provide for her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed crocheting, baking, cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are four children: Mark Umbel and wife Dana of Uniontown, Jeff Umbel and Bonnie Umbel, both of Filbert and Richard Umbel and wife Becky of Newboro, PA, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three sisters: Susan Baker of Shalersville, OH, Katherine Mayfield of Fairchance, PA and Betty Robottom of Uniontown.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA on Thursday, September 12th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM and on Friday, September 13th, until 10 AM when a Blessing Service will be held followed by entombment in the mausoleum at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
