Joel Steven Susano, Sr.

Joel Steven Susano, Sr., 69, of Smock, PA passed away Monday, April 1, 2024. He was born April 26, 1954 in Uniontown. Preceding him in death were his parents, Ronald A. and Katherine Ethel (Stevens) Susano and his wife, Carole Jean (Covington) Susano.

Joel was a loving father, grandfather, and brother, who enjoyed all sports, fishing, and especially his grandchildren.

Surviving are three children, Joel Susano, Jr. of Uniontown, Carly Susano of Smock and Anthony Susano of Pittsburgh, PA, six grandchildren: Anthony R. Susano, Jr., Christian Susano, Joel Susano, III, Bella Susano, Charlie Williams and Cecelia Williams, and three siblings, Kathryn Morris of Uniontown, Anthony Susano (Scherrie) of Dunkirk, MD, and Deborah Clements (Michael) of Ocean City, MD.

To honor his wishes, services for Joel were private under the direction of the Shell Funeral Home, Inc.
