Teresa Lynn (Gillen) Stafford

Teresa Lynn (Gillen) Stafford, 44, of Uniontown, PA passed away peacefully Saturday, August 10, 2019 at her residence with loving family by her side. She was born May 22, 1975 in Uniontown.

Preceding her in death was her husband John Allen Stafford, Sr.

Teresa was a graduate of Uniontown Senior High School and the Pennsylvania State University. She had worked as a counselor with Chestnut Ridge Counseling Services. Teresa was a loving daughter, mother and sister who fought through her illness for four years. She was a kind and loving person who would give what she had to anyone in need.

Surviving are her parents, Conway Bechtol and Anne Elizabeth Gillen and a son John Allen Stafford, Jr. all of Uniontown, five siblings: John Allen Gillen of Uniontown, Alice Bechtol of Fairchance, PA, Adam Robinson and wife Brittany of New Salem, PA, Christina Bechtol of Omaha, Nebraska and Patricia Bechtol of Fairchance, a special niece with whom she was very close, Samantha Clark of Uniontown and many other nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA this afternoon, Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 PM. The funeral service will begin at 7:30 with Pastor Michael Lyons officiating. Interment will be private.
