Opal Pearl Rodgers

Opal Pearl Rodgers, 78 years of Uniontown, PA passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at her residence with loving family by her side. She was born July 17, 1939 in Meadowbrook, PA.

Preceding her in death were her parents Edward James Edenfield, Jr. and Freda Beatrice (Ditmore) Edenfield and her husband Donald Rodgers.

Opal was a Member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church and a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed fishing and football.

Surviving are four children: Betty Karwatske of Lemont Furnace and Joseph H. Russman, Jr. and wife Christina, Edward G. Russman and wife Diane and Linda McCullough all of Uniontown, ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and five siblings: Edward James Edenfield, III and wife Carol of Albuquerque, NM, Janice R. Edenfield Smitley and husband Robert of Atlanta, GA, R. Jill Edenfield of Norwalk, CA, Guy Christopher Edenfield and wife Linda of East Windsor, NJ and Galen Lee Edenfield of Uniontown.

Funeral services were private under the direction of the Shell Funeral Home, Inc. 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave. Uniontown, PA 15401.
