Naomi Jane Adams

Naomi Jane Adams, 89, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side and went to meet her heavenly Father on Saturday, December 6th, 2025.

She was born October 8, 1936 in Waynesburg, PA, daughter of the late Clarence D. and Mary R. McKahan. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Charles R. Adams, Sr., son, Charles R. Adams, Jr., son-in-law, Steven Michael Bloom, four brothers, and two sisters.

Before retiring, she was a CNA at Mt. Macrina Manor. Naomi belonged to the Pillar of Faith Church in Fredericktown, PA. She was a very caring mother, and enjoyed crocheting, flowers, and had a passion for gardening. She also enjoyed sitting on the porch and spending time with her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Kathleen Show of Masontown, PA, son John R. and wife Rachelle, of Florida, daughters, Mary Mehalic and Rhonda Bloom, both of Uniontown, Yvonne Janus and husband Gregory of Monessen, PA, and daughter-in-law, Roxanne Adams of Uniontown, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her precious puppy Mia.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA. Wednesday, December 10th from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday, December 11th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and on Friday, December 12th until 11 AM the time of service with Rev. Shawn Davis, Jr. officiating . Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, PA.
