Helen Marie McCune

Helen Marie McCune, 92 of Uniontown, PA, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 25, 2024. She was born April 27, 1931 in Ruffs Dale, PA, a daughter of the late Charles Omer McCune and Evelyn May (Shaffer) McCune. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Kenneth Gilbert McCunes and Charles Eugene McCune, two sisters, Jeannetta Belle Stants and Shirley Irene McCune, and a sister-in-law, Bertha McCune.

Helen was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church of Brownsville. She was a very loving sister and aunt with a deep faith in the Lord.

Left to cherish her memory is a sister, Linda Diane Valo of East Millsboro, PA, brother, James Arthur McCune (Donna Diane) of Belle Vernon, PA, sister-in-law, Hazel Virginia McCune of Uniontown, a great niece, Vicki Stants Wilson, whom she raised as her daughter, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA, Wednesday, March 27th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, and on Thursday, March 28th, until 11 AM the hour of service with Rev. Edward Truitt officiating. Interment will follow in Barren Run Cemetery, Smithton, PA.
