LaVonne Bonnie (Arison) Miller

LaVonne Bonnie (Arison) Miller, 98, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 10, 2024. She was born January 13, 1926 in Uniontown.

Bonnie was predeceased by her parents, Thomas Edgar Dale Arison and Effie Sevilla (Schreckengost) Arison, and her husband, Robert Dale Miller.

Bonnie attended was a graduate of North Union High School and had worked at Areford Brothers Real Estate for many years. She attended the Uniontown Central Christian Church. Bonnie had been an active member of many social and business organizations throughout her life. Most importantly, she was a loving mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Candace Ellenberger (Barry), of Bel Air, MD and Cynthia Swaney, of Uniontown, four grandchildren, Bret Swaney (Jillian), Erin Swaney-Villamil (Juan), Dana Robert Ellenberger (Julie), and Beth Lowden (T.J. Lowden), great-grandchildren: Emily, Allison, and Ryan Ellenberger, Hannah, Kendall and Morgan Lowden, Aiden, and Xander Swaney, Antonio Villamil, and Paige Swaney-Mahoney (Patrick) and great-great grandchild, Zoe.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA, on Monday, April 15th, from 9 AM to 11 AM. A service celebrating her life will begin at 11 AM with Rev. Heather Simpson officiating. Private interment will be held at Mountain View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in memory of Bonnie be made to Fayette Friends of Animals, PO Box 1282, Uniontown, PA 15401.
