Ann E. Kushner

Ann E. Kushner, 94 years of Uniontown, PA passed away peacefully Friday, July 7, 2017 in Mount St. Macrina Nursing Home. She was born October 26, 1922 in Blainsburg, PA.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Michael Bobby and Eva Kachak Bobby, her husband, William Kushner and five siblings, Mary Dudgeon and John, Michael, George and Andrew Bobby.

Ann was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church and a former resident of Meridian Point Senior Apts. She had been a manager with the National Record Mart stores in both Uniontown and the Uniontown Mall. Ann was a loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving is a daughter Linda Patterson and husband Dalton of The Villages, FL, two granddaughters, Laura Santore and husband Donald of Smock and Sara Patton and husband Justin of Belleview, FL and a sister-in-law Violet Bobby of Pittsburgh, PA.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA on Thursday, July 13th from 6 to 9 PM and on Friday, July 14th until 10:30 AM when a Panachida Service will be held followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 185 East Main Street, Uniontown, PA with Rev. Father Ron Larko as Celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum at Sylvan Heights Cemetery. Parastis Service will be held Thursday evening at 8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 185 East Main Street, Uniontown, PA. The family would like to thank the staff at Mount St. Macrina, the Sisters of St. Basil the Great and Amedisys for the kind and loving care they provided to Ann.
