Earla Jane Knoyer

Earla Jane Knoyer, 65, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully Tuesday May 19, 2026 at her home. She was born July 1, 1960 in Uniontown, daughter of the late Earl Knoyer and Donna Mae (Moorhouse) Knoyer.

Earla retired from the Pennsylvania State University having worked as a finance officer with Penn State Fayette. She enjoyed her many years serving as a WPIAL Swimming official. Earla was a very kind, generous, and loving sister and aunt who had a great love of animals.

Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Edward P. Knoyer (Nan), nephews, Lee and Logan Knoyer, loving companion, Fred Botti, all of Uniontown, and her many friends.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc. 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave. Uniontown, PA on Saturday, May 23rd, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in memory of Earla be made to Keeping the Faith Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 1161 Uniontown, PA 15401.
