Steven Andrew Haragos Sr.,
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Steven Andrew Haragos Sr., 73, of Uniontown, who left this world on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Born on January 3, 1953, Steven was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend whose spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Steven was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Bernard Haragos and Anna Elizabeth (Bena) Haragos, and a sister.
He dedicated many years of his life to Consolidation Coal Company (Consol Energy) before retiring. A proud member of the American Legion Post 51 and the Lemont Sportsmen’s Club. He was a devoted lottery player, an avid hunter, the “number one Pechins Market Shopper” and a “one of a kind” father and grandfather.
Steven’s legacy of love is carried on by his four children: Erik King (KayCee) of California, Steven Haragos Jr. (Michelle) of Uniontown, Michelle Misiak (Justin) of Hopwood, and Stephanie Verdun (Mike) of Uniontown. He also cherished his grandchildren: Paytyn King, Bree Haragos, Steven “Nutch” Haragos, Landon Misiak, Logan Misiak, Pressley Haragos, Zayden Verdun, and the expected baby Haragos.
Additionally, he is survived by his loving companion Marsha Widmer, a sister, and two brothers.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., located at 164 S Mount Vernon Ave., Uniontown, on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 4PM to 7PM for a blessing service. Interment will be private.
At this time of sorrow, we remember Steven for his unwavering love, his infectious personality, and the countless memories he created with those he held dear.
