Edith Mae (King) Call

Edith Mae (King) Call, 96, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 7, 2024, with loving family by her side. She was born January 18, 1928 in Uniontown, a daughter of the late Leonard S. King and Mildred Iola (Haines) King. Also preceding her in death was her husband William Burlan Call.

Edith loved her family and everyone she befriended. She was a devout Christian, who everyone affectionately called Gram. Edith enjoyed country music, yard sales, and making jokes.

Left to cherish her memory are four children, William Burl Call (Twilight) of New Salem, Edward Call of Uniontown, Roxanne Pratt (Duane) and Deborah Call, all of Uniontown, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her very close friend, Violet Sines of Point Marion.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA on Wednesday, April 10th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and on Thursday, April 11th, until 11 AM the hour of service with Pastor Michael Lyons officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
