Marie C. DeCarlo

Marie C. DeCarlo, 89, of Uniontown, PA, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. She was born August 23, 1936, in Uniontown.

Marie, a loving and devoted daughter, was pre-deceased by her parents, Charles E. DeCarlo and Louise (George) DeCarlo. She is survived by her many cousins, extended family and dear friends.

Marie was an active member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church. She was a long-time Administrative Secretary at the Uniontown Hospital and retired after thirty-five years of dedicated service to care for her parents.

Marie lived a full and active life following her retirement. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, walking her neighborhood, exercising with the Silver Sneakers and visiting with friends and family.

Also left to cherish her memory is her dearest friend, Cindy Lowe, who lovingly cared for and supported Marie over many years. Marie also enjoyed and appreciated the companionship of Kelli Bolish, her caregiver, over the past few months. In addition, a special thanks to Meals on Wheels and the Interfaith Caregivers for their kindness and assistance in providing meals and transportation for Marie.

Friends and family will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA on Saturday morning, September 13th, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM when a Blessing Service will be held. Interment will be private in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
