Ronald J. Corella

Ronald J. Corella, 79 years of Lemont Furnace, PA, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at his residence. He was born April 2, 1938 in Redstone Township.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank Corella and Mary Frances Leeper Corella.

Ronald was a graduate of North Union High School Class of 1961, served honorably in the US Army from 1961 to 1967 and retired from PennDOT in 1995 after 25 years of service. He was a loving companion, father and grandfather who enjoyed coin collecting and tending to his yardwork.

Surviving is his companion Linda Patterson, with whom he made his home, a son Michael Corella of Grindstone, PA, three grandchildren, Michael, Cierah and Aliyah Corella, three great-grandchildren, two brothers, Sam Corello and wife Julia of Tower Hill 2 and Jerry Corella and wife Linda of Uniontown, his faithful dog Rambo, nieces, Gina Cotton and Maria Corella and three nephews, Mark, David and Tommy Corella.

Funeral services were private under the direction of the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA 15401.
