Kathleen Marie (Smarslok) Constable

Kathleen Marie (Smarslok) Constable, 68 years, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 28, 2025, at her residence, with loving family by her side. She was born in Uniontown January 22, 1957.

Preceding her in death were her parents, John T. Smarslok and Helen (Fabian) Smarslok, husband, Michael Anthony Constable, sister, Cynthia Smarslok and brother, Eugene Smarslok.

Kathleen was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) RC Church, the Columbian Association, and did volunteer work for the American Cancer Society. She worked at the Hills Department Store for 10 years, and later worked for 25 years as manager of the shoes and jewelry department at Walmart. Kathy enjoyed visiting Casinos and purchasing scratch off tickets. She especially loved watching her two sons as they played in their bands.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Michael Constable, II (Kari), and John Constable (Amanda), both of Uniontown, granddaughter, Amelia Constable, a grandchild expected in February 2026, and her four faithful and loving canine companions, Maxwell, Maggie, Reggie, and Zoebelle.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA, on Tuesday, September 2nd, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, and on Wednesday, September 3rd, until 11 AM when a Blessing Service will be held. Interment will be private in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
