Joseph G. Beal

Joseph G. Beal, 86, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 14, 2024 with loving family by his side. He was born December 16, 1937 in Dunbar, PA. Joe was predeceased by his parents, Amos Beal and Maude (Kelley) Beal, a brother, Jack Beal, and a sister, Dolores Beal.

Joseph was a member of the Uniontown Central Christian Church, a Vietnam War era veteran having served honorably as a Sergeant in the US Army and had been a Pennsylvania State Constable. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved playing softball with the Apollo 11 Softball Team for many years. Joe enjoyed walking and driving through the mountains with his wife Beverly.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Beverly Ann (Wilkes) Beal, three children, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Joan and June Beal, and three special and very caring friends, Debbie Cunningham, Pam Tesauro, and Kim Pegg.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA on Monday, May 20th, from 5 to 8 PM. The funeral service will be Tuesday morning, May 20th, at 11AM with Rev. Heather Simpson officiating. Internment will follow at Mount St. Macrina Cemetery.

Military honors will be accorded graveside by Amvets General Marshall Post 103, Hopwood, PA.
