Regina Irene (Harbarger) Hornsby Wooten
Regina Irene (Harbarger) Hornsby Wooten, 70, of Uniontown, PA passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 at her residence. She was born September 8, 1949 in Uniontown.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Isaac Harbarger and Mary Baughman Harbarger, husband, Harry Hornsby, second husband, William Wooten, son, Harry Hornsby, Jr. and three sisters, Mildred Swaney, Linda Weasonforth and Sarah Mae McCozie.
Regina lived in the Uniontown area most of her life and worked as a childcare provider as well as a Certified Nursing Assistant and caregiver of elderly patients. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God where she taught Sunday School for several years. Regina had varied interests that included reading, cooking, and baking.
Left to cherish her memory are four children: Reginald Harbarger and wife Maria of Bluffton, SC, Jeanie Moore and husband Earl of Smithfield, PA, Brian Hornsby and wife Hope of Bluffton, SC and Travis Hornsby of Orlando, FL, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and seven siblings: Karen Doty and husband Mac of Plano, TX, Claudia Harbarger of Uniontown, Riley Harbarger of Brownsville, PA, Josephine Harbarger, Arnold Harbarger and Donald Harbarger, all of Phoenix, AZ and Isaac Harbarger of Charlotte, NC.
Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA Tuesday, December 3rd, from 4 to 6 PM. A Memorial Service will begin at 6 PM with Mr. Jim Howell officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the National Blood Clot Alliance, 267 Kentlands Blvd., #2025, Gaithersburg, MD 20878, in the hope that awareness can be raised, that others at risk can be treated and live full, happy lives.
