Virginia M. Wood

Virginia M. Wood, 91 of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at her residence with loving family by her side. She was born December 19, 1932 in Waynesburg, PA.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Clarence D. McKahan and Mary Hillberry McKahan, husband, Richard Clarke Wood, and brothers, Willie Ray, Donald, Benny, and Charles McKahan.

Surviving are her two children Virginia Janosek (Robert), Richard Allen Wood (Trina), grandchildren, Jessica Marie Janosek, Jacquelyn Stacer (Steven), and Nicole Janosek, great-grandchildren, Chase, Chance, Braxton, Aubrey, Kayden, Noah, Wyatt, Josh Wood, Richard Wood, and Cristyna Williams, sisters, Wanda McKahan, Naomi Adams, and Kathleen Show.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA Wednesday, November 13th, from 2 to 8 PM and on Thursday, November 14th, until 11 AM the hour of service. Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, PA.
