Darrall Duane Wardle

Darrall Duane Wardle, 75 of Lemont Furnace, PA died Thursday, August 9, 2018 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born December 2, 1942 in Uniontown, PA.

Preceding him in death were his parents, James Henry Wardle and Ruth Marie (Welsh) Wardle, his loving wife Nancy M. (Bucci) Wardle and two sisters, Wanda Walls and Mary Lou Wardle.

Darrall served honorably in the US Army and worked as a school bus driver for North Union High School and the Laurel Highlands School District, attended the Evans Manor Community United Methodist Church and was a member of the Lemont Sportsmen’s Club and the North Union VFD.

He was a kind and loving brother who will be missed by his surviving seven siblings: Shirley Silbaugh, James Wardle, Jr. and wife Darlene, Beverly Grubisa, Jacqueline Dreistadt, Kenneth Wardle and his companion Betty Ellis, Wilma Meyer and Sharon Burnsworth and husband Timothy, godson Christopher Layman, brother-in-law Neil Walls and his loving caregivers Ed and Judy Zebley.

At Darrall’s request his funeral services will be private under the direction of the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA.
