Elizabeth Irene “Betsy” (Dugan) Silbaugh

Elizabeth Irene “Betsy” (Dugan) Silbaugh, 86 years of Edgewater, FL passed away peacefully Saturday, April 7, 2018. She was born March 17, 1932 in Bitner, PA a daughter of the late David Raymond Dugan and Elizabeth (White) Dugan.

Also preceding her in death were her husband William “Willie” Silbaugh, a granddaughter Paula (Silbaugh) Gibson, a grandson Teddy Bozick, three sisters, Shirley Silbaugh, Olive “Jean” Dugan and Patricia Alexander and two brothers, Donald and Raymond Dugan.

Elizabeth retired as a personal care aide with the Laurel Ridge Assisted Living Center and was a long time member of the Apostolic Gospel Church of Cheat Lake, WV. She loved serving the Lord and spending time with her loving family.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Rita Hockman and husband Larry of Stafford, VA and Sara Estepp and husband Rodney of Edgewater, FL, two sons, William Silbaugh, Jr. of Kansas and Clifford Paul Silbaugh of Ohio, grandchildren: Dorinda Wilson of Altoona, PA, Tara Mann and husband Don of Newport News, VA, Jennifer Silbaugh of Uniontown, Tasha Todd and husband Gavin of Newport News, VA, William Silbaugh, III of Edgewater, FL, Paige Basista, Fred Connell, Melissa Basista and Jeffrey Basista, Jr., all of Edgewater, FL, George Wilson of Brownsville, PA and Ben Alexander of Cleveland, OH, great-grandchildren: Stefani and Carissa Wilson, George, Jr. and Danielle Wilson, Samantha and Josh Stanton and Cadence Todd, three sisters, Martha Hogue, Janet Dugan and Kathy Dugan and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA on Thursday, April 12th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and on Friday, April 13th until 11 AM the hour of service with Bishop Wheeler A. Estepp officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
