Norbert “Bud” Rosiek

Norbert “Bud” Rosiek, 55, of New Salem, PA passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at his residence with loving family at his side. He was born May 5, 1964 in Brownsville, PA a son of the late Bernard Rosiek and Marlene (Trieschmann) Rosiek.

Bud was an employee of Nello Construction and a member of the Newboro Indians Club of Newboro, PA. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing and all sports, especially the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Gail Sharp Rosiek, three children: Jason Sharp and wife Jennifer of Uniontown, Christopher Rosiek and fiancé Kelly Allman of West Leisenring, PA and Ashley Close and husband Samuel Close, III of Grindstone, PA, three grandchildren: Elizabeth Sharp, Alyssa Sharp and Cassius Allman and four siblings: Julia Skursha and husband Edward and Bernard Rosiek, Jr., all of Hopwood, PA, Margaret Sandifer of Atelanto, CA and Ronald Rosiek and wife Judy of Uniontown, PA.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA on Thursday, November 7th, from 3 to 7 PM. The funeral service will begin at 7 PM with Pastor David Watson officiating. Interment will be private.
