John William Lape

John William Lape, 66 years of Uniontown, PA died Monday April 10, 2017 in Rolling Meadows, Inc. Waynesburg, PA. He was born June 9, 1950 in Charleroi, PA.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Allen Doyle Lape and Ethel Clara Mitchell Lape, a grandson, Jacob Michael Lape and several brothers and sisters.

John was a construction worker by trade.

Surviving is his wife Debra Darlene Thompson Lape of Smithfield, three children, Robert Lape and fiance Mary Ann Drummond and Candy Reese and husband Blaine Reese, Jr. all of Smithfield and Roy Thompson and wife Tammy of Uniontown, four grandchildren, Emily Alora and Blaine Edward Reese, III and Della and Justin Thompson and his Bingo buddy, Kip of Uniontown.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc. 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave. Uniontown, PA April 12th, from 10 to 11 AM. Interment will be private.
