Dorothea Marie (Fijalkovic) Lambo

Dorothea Marie (Fijalkovic) Lambo, 93 years of Uniontown, PA passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 19, 2018. She was born June 24, 1925 in West Leisenring, PA.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Paul and Anna (Bill) Fijalkovic, her husband Eugene Lambo, a daughter, Patricia Drawbaugh, two brothers, Joseph and Thomas Fijalkovic and five sisters, Libby Hmura, Margaret Apicella, Mary Kowatch, Anna Mae Kitt and Pauline Sabatula.

Dorothea was a graduate of the former North Union High School, had worked at the Berkowitz Shirt Factory and was a member of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are two granddaughters, Carolyn and Sarah, her caregiver Paul B. Fijalkovic and wife Marylou and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA on Sunday, September 23rd, from 6 to 8 PM and on Monday, September 24th, until 9:30 AM when Prayers of Transfer will be said followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill St., Uniontown, PA. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Dorothea.

Parish Wake Service will be held on Sunday, September 23rd, at 6 PM.
