Edward Lewis Kovach

Edward Lewis Kovach, Sr. 82 years of Uniontown, PA passed away peacefully Sunday, September 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born April 9, 1936 in Uniontown.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Steven and Mary (Skovira) Kovach and a grandson, Edward Lewis Kovach, III.

Ed was a former employee of D&M Towing and worked for many years for the Esso Oil Company. He was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Surviving are three children, Edward Lewis Kovach, Jr. and wife Nancy and Pamela Conn and husband Brian Scott, all of Uniontown and Tammy Yeager and companion Scott of Connellsville, PA, three grandchildren, Ashleigh Conn and Brittany and Cody Yeager, two great-grandchildren, Sorin and Lilly Koury and his former wife, Maryann Kovach.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA and at Ed’s request will be private.
