Camdon W. “Bud” Inks, Jr.

Camdon W. “Bud” Inks, Jr., 97 years of Uniontown, PA passed away peacefully Sunday, August 5, 2018 at his residence with loving family at his side. He was born October 5, 1920 in Uniontown.

Preceding him in death were his parents Camdon W. Inks and Callie (Garlock) Inks, his wife Madalyn (Liston) Inks and eight siblings: Robert L. Pegg, Gertrude Hartzell, Alice Welter, Pearl Carlson, Mildred Baer, Evelyn May Inks, Ruth Pegg and Grace Pegg.

Camdon served honorably in the US Army Air Corps during WWII and owned and operated Mack’s Tire Service for over 41 years. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist RC Church and VFW Post 47.

Surviving are six children: Karen A. Kochis and husband Thomas and Ileen Monahan and husband James all of Uniontown, Diane M. Maurey and husband Terry of Allison Park, PA, David W. Inks of FL, Edward A. Inks and wife Andrea of CA and Christina M. Fike and husband Warren of Smithfield, PA, 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA on Wednesday, August 8th, from 2 to 8 PM. Prayers of Transfer will be said at 9:30 AM on Thursday, August 9th, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, 50 Jefferson St., Uniontown, PA. Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
