Edward Paul Hogan

Edward Paul Hogan, 65 years of Hopwood, PA passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018. He was born January 27, 1953 in Uniontown, PA.

Preceding him in death were his parents, William Paul Hogan and Josephine Cecelia Shinsky Hogan and a brother, William Joseph “Lunch” Hogan.

Ed was a member of St. John the Evangelist RC Church where he had been the custodian and groundskeeper for many years. He owned and operated Hogan’s Lawn and Garden and did small engine repairs. Ed was a 3rd Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are his wife Jetta L. Dickerson Hogan, a son Christopher Paul Hogan and wife Stacey of West Palm Beach FL, two grandchildren, Alexander and Samantha Hogan, four siblings, David Michael Hogan and wife Karol of Uniontown, Carol Ann Hogan Smith and husband Charles of Lumber Bridge, NC, Daniel Mark Hogan and wife Kathy of Bentleyville, PA and Rita Marie Thomas and husband Paul of Smithfield, PA and his faithful and loving pets, Sharky his dog and George and Oompa his cats.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA on Thursday, March 1st from 4 to 7 PM. A Blessing Service will begin at 7 PM with Father James D. Tringhese officiating. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family.
