Rose Marie Bendishaw

Rose Marie (Grangruth)(Bala) McGee Bendishaw, 76, of Dunbar, PA passed away peacefully Monday, February 25, 2019 at her home with loving family at her side. She was born July 26, 1942 in Los Angeles, California.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Louis K. Bala and Effie Luvida (Kimball) Bala, her birthfather Elmer Felix Grangruth and two sisters, Beverly Morgan and Mary Della Cseripko.

Rose was an employee of Rockwell Corporation and later Sensus Technologies for 41 years. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church and the Adrian Bible Class. Rose Marie was an avid horsewoman who belonged to the Fayette County Horse Owner’s Association and Hoofbeats. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family members and many friends.

Surviving are six children: James Joseph McGee and wife Terrie Lynn of Lemont Furnace, twins, Ronald Lee McGee and wife Wendy Lou of Perryopolis and Donald Ray “Duck” McGee and wife Debra Lynn of Dunbar Township, Heather Lynn Bendishaw of Chicago, IL, Theresa Carr and husband Terry of Akron, OH and William David Bendishaw and wife Carla of Masontown, PA, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and four siblings, Leila Brinker and husband Michael of Dunbar, Elizabeth Moore and husband Terry of Farmington and Patricia Leihgaber and Sheila Craven and husband Douglas all of Uniontown.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA on Thursday, February 28th, from 2 to 8 PM.

The funeral service for Rose will take place Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11 AM in the Christ United Methodist Church, corner of Fayette St. and Beeson Ave., Uniontown, PA with her grandson Jesse Alan McGee and Pastor Timothy Rogers officiating. Interment will be private.
