Charlotte M. “Dolly” (Wingrove) Hillen Baer

Charlotte M. “Dolly” (Wingrove) Hillen Baer, 88 years of Smock, PA passed away peacefully Saturday, October 6, 2018 with loving family by her side. She was born April 16, 1930 at High House, German Township.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Joseph Wingrove and Stella Layman Wingrove, a first husband, Glenn Hillen, a second husband, John Baer, a daughter, Linda Diann (Hillen) Rossi, two sisters, Helen Louise Gibbs and Claudia June Kovach, two brothers, Frank and Gilbert Wingrove, a half brother, William Warnick and a half sister, Joyce Hotsinpilar.

Charlotte was a member of the Evangelic Mennonite Church of Masontown, PA. She was a loving grandmother who never missed a birthday. “Dolly” was a very creative person who enjoyed crafts, restoring furniture and gardening. She loved the Lord and her family and will be greatly missed.

Surviving are two grandchildren, Michelle (Rossi) Barch and husband Charles of Canonsburg, PA and Nathan Rossi and wife Jennifer (Sible) Rossi of Uniontown, seven great-grandchildren, Aliana, Elise, Fiona, Madelyn, Jaxon, Wesley and Zachary, a son-in-law, Charles Rossi of Uniontown and a half brother, Norman Warnick of High House.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA on Wednesday, October 10th, from 10AM to 12 noon when services will begin. Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery, Masontown, PA.
