David E. Armel

David E. Armel, 79, of Uniontown, PA passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born May 7, 1940 in Georges Township.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Nelson Armel and Famie (Yeager) Armel and four brothers: Wade Yeager, Bob Armel, Clifford Armel and Jim Armel.

David was a former warehouseman at Fayette Frozen Foods and had worked at the former Venetian Restaurant. He was a loving husband who enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and planting flowers.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Sandra Lee (Rine) Armel, seven siblings: Betty Spiker and Arthur Armel and wife Judy, all of Baltimore, MD, Lelia Boyer of Uniontown, Dale Armel and wife Pat, Glenn Armel, Brenda Thompson and husband Ron and Fayme Balbane, all of Uniontown and his two pet companions, his dog Blackie and his cat Pansey Pooh.

Friends will be received in the Shell Funeral Home, Inc., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA, Thursday, July 11th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and on Friday, July 12th, until 11 AM the hour of service with Rev. Galen Winebrenner officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
